Embark on a day of history and learning at Pio Pico State Historic Park. This 19th century rancho is the unique home of one of California’s oldest governors. In it, kids can make their way through the adobe walls as they encounter old artifacts, technologies, and accessories from a time long gone. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to immerse in a past way of life, where you can witness blacksmith demonstrations, candle and rope making techniques, gold-panning enterprises, adobe brick-making, and old ways of bread-making.
