Get ready for some summer fun at Camp Jericho at Plattsburgh YMCA, which runs Monday through Friday and is set-up for ages 5-13. Campers will be in small groups of twelve and take part in energizing and thrilling activities like basketball, archery, hiking, fishing, and ropes courses. Your kids will never want to come home! There is also character camp, an overnight camp that teaches children core values, like honesty and respect. Every year, the overnights have a new, memorable theme.
Live it up at Mid-Island Y JCC Summer Camp and choose between the many fun-filled camps. There's sports camps, theater camps, travel camps, special needs camp, and even Hebrew language camps. All of these camps have different schedules and activities, but they all involve fun in the sun, swimming, snack times, and an enthusiastic staff. Sleepaway camp is offered for grades 3-10 and has access to a private lake!
Drink some wholesome goodness at Jericho Cider Mill. The main attraction here, of course, is the cider. Jugs and jugs of it (but you can also buy a glass). Don't worry, there's also apple pies, pumpkin pies, coconut pies, turnovers, caramel apples, and many other delectable treats. When you have a cider at Jericho Cider Mill, you are also experiencing a piece of history, as the mill is 150 years old! The cider mill is open from September until June.
