This is a residential program, on-campus, and is full of team-based projects meant to motivate and inspire students. Students will bond with teachers, professors, undergraduate students, and graduate students, who will become their mentors. By the end of the program, students will have designed their own projects.
Explore salt marshes on an 88-acre wetland preserve with The Earnst Marine Conservation Center and its summer programs. In the Salt Marsh Explorers program, campers are given a nature journal for their expedition through the creek, where they will identify and record the creatures they come upon. Campers will learn to use their resources and even find out how to make a flute out of Japanese knotweed! Another program, Salt Marsh Detectives, has campers searching the marsh and then bringing back "evidence" to the lab to study.

New this season are photography cruises, which include an extra 30 minutes and a photography instructor. Bring a big group, as the boat fits up to 27 people and group discounts are available. Cruises run May through October.
