Get up close and personal with a fat-tailed dwarf lemur at the Duke Lemur Center. These animals look as cute as they sound and they live in one of the premier zoological institutes dedicated to lemurs. Your kids will love meeting and learning about the wide variety of lemurs from Madagascar nestled in their very own home state. Students rising into 4th-8th grade have the opportunity to join scienceday camps where they will learn about primatology and research the fossil collection at theLemur Center. Year-round and creative writing camps for all ages are also offered.
